New Discoveries

This past week I did a research assessment over determining the pricing of a home. At first I thought that I wouldn't be as interested,  due to not being a big fan of numbers. but as I did my research assessment and figured out all the things that go into choosing the price of a home the more intriguing it became.  I'm starting to realize how much I truly like real estate.  It brings me joy that it's becoming something that I really enjoy and I look forward to learning about.  I do know that my journey into real estate won't be easy but having the prior knowledge in high school means so much to me.  My next topic is negotiating, which is a huge topic in real estate. Which bring me back to the main things that I've gotten out of all of my interviews is how emotional people can be when making big decisions.  Negotiating is something I'm very excited to learn about because one of the biggest things in real estate is networking and forming relationships with clients in order to become successful.  After this assessment I'm going to focus on creating my rough draft for my final product. I'm not sure if I want to create a blog, a portfolio or something else that comes to mind in the future but I have an idea in my head and I want to recreate it.  I'm on the lookout for a mentor and I'm planning on sending emails soon,  and I have a feeling my mentor is going to be one of the best people I get to work with this year.
